The Wausau Paranormal Research Society (WPRS) is a group of dedicated individuals who have over 15 years of paranormal investigation experience. Formed in 2000 and based in Wausau, WI we have been conducting investigations throughout Wisconsin.  The WPRS seeks to collect evidence to aid in understanding paranormal phenomena and events. Our members are drawn from a number of fields, academic, criminal justice, and communications. Our diverse backgrounds allow the WPRS to approach paranormal investigations from a variety of subject areas.

WPRS conducts professional investigations of reported paranormal phenomena including, but not limited to, hauntings, poltergeists outbreaks, residual hauntings, apparitions, and other “ghostly” events. We are Area Representatives of the American Ghost Society and TAPS Family Members representing the State of Wisconsin. Our team members are trained in standard ghost investigation         methodology and protocols. WPRS uses a variety of equipment to detect and measure electromagnetic/geomagnetic fields, temperature change, ionizing radiation, audio, and infrared phenomena in an attempt to obtain scientific evidence of paranormal events.

We are available for speaking engagements for your community, service, educational, or social groups. Subjects include Ghost Research and Investigation techniques as well as presentations about various local haunts.
